Full share or Half Share?
A full share feeds a family or group of approximately 4 adults. This obviously depends on the eating habits of those individuals. A half share will feed approximately 2. The goal of both of these shares is to supply enough vegetables to enjoy at harvest time as well as enough to can and freeze (or give away), depending on the harvest that year. 
 
To work or not to work?
A non-working share does not require the customer to work on the farm at all, though you’re always welcome to visit.  You pay for your share and receive your weekly delivery.
 
A working share has a reduced price but requires the customer to come to the farm once a month to perform scheduled tasks.  The full working share will require approximately 6 hours once a month (May – September).  The half share will require  approximately 3 hours once a month (May-September).  If you purchase a working share we will work with you to determine a working schedule that is acceptable to you. How do you receive your share?
Delivery to your home (in Bolivar) is included in the price of each share.  A 5% discount will be given to customers who prefer to pickup their share at the farm.
 
Delivery or Pickup Schedule
Customers may request delivery or pickup on a particular day of the week and Langford Farms will honor the request based on the date the contract is received (first come, first served). Springfield shares will be delivered to one pickup location (to be announced). Shares will be provided from May through October (weather permitting).
 
Other Discounts or Refunds
Early Bird Discount:  Pay in full prior to March 31 and receive a 5% discount.
Referral system:  If you refer a new customer, you will receive a $20 refund per referred full share ($10 per half share) on your own order (maximum of $100 refund & June 1 deadline).
 
How to Join
To join Langford Farms CSA, complete the following steps:
  • Email us and include the following info:  Name, street address, email address, phone number, share size, preferences regarding working/nonworking and delivery/pickup, and name of person who told you about Langford Farms (if applicable).  We will respond with confirmation of membership and cost.
